Hot Docs is North America's premier documentary festival, market and conference, taking place in Toronto, Canada, 26 April - 6 May 2012. It is one of the best events for doing business, getting creative inspiration and networking in the international documentary world, and it's a must if you are considering to venture into the North American market.
Besides the festival screenings, the Hot Docs Forum, an extensive programme of industry sessions, special market initiatives including the Sales Office and its Rendevouz service, the International Co-production Day and the Doc Shop, all make up a professional package not to be missed.
The Nordic Delegation at Hot Docs
Members of the Nordic delegation will be offered:
- Hot Docs Forum observer status at a large discount of 25% on the price of the registration. Thus the rate for delegation members is CAD 600 excl. taxes. The Hot Docs Forum pass includes entry to all Hot Docs screenings and events as well as entry to the International Co-production Day.
- Access to apply to Hot Docs one-on-one Rendevouz meetings with broadcasters and distributors from around the world
- Opportunity to submit the first programme for free, and subsequent titles on a 50% discounted basis, into the Doc Shop, the Hot Docs on-demand digital video library for international buyers and programmers (deadline 16 March)
