Sunny Side of the Doc is a unique and targeted venue for meetings with documentary professionals on the spot as well as participation in various forums, case studies and screenings in order to understand the market and its latest trends.
Sunny Side of the Doc is taking place in La Rochelle from 21-24 June 2011. Thanks to its expanding strategy in Latin America and Asia, this year’s 22nd edition will gather more producers and decision-makers from these continents, opening new opportunities and contents for Western producers and broadcasters. Other focus areas will be Doc & Cinema, 3D: Storytelling & Financing, New US Trends and German Opportunities.
The Best International Projects Showcase
Also Sunny Side of the Doc arranges The Best International Projects Showcase (BIPS): daily theme-based pitch sessions with key decision-makers specialized in each theme. There will be six pitching sessions each presenting six projects within the following categories: History & Science, Investigation, Arts & Culture, the Under 30s Pitch, Cross Media and 3D & Cinema.
